Not much and that’s fine
That headline means it was a quiet week and that is perfectly fine.
We spend last Saturday just working on stuff around the house then on Sunday we had a fantastic time hanging out at the beautiful Wutzler home, enjoying the pool, laughing and dining on delicious ribs made by Kevin. We had a blast as always. Then on Wednesday night, we won at trivia!!!!
Monday night I did one of the most enjoyable volunteer efforts I do, food rescue from Panera in Aventura that I load up in my car and take to the Broward Outreach Center. And on Wednesday I took the Trader Joe’s food rescue to my favorite people at Freedom Lab. All of this in an effort to curb food waste, keep food out of landfills and feed those less fortunate.
I enjoyed putting together a new little nook in our house where our giant water heater used to be. I put together the table (a cheap and cute Target purchase along with the rug) and the rest of the decor is from around our house. Loving the way it looks. If you’ll notice, the lamp is a refurbished fire hydrant which was gifted to me by the artist who created it a long time ago when I profiled him for an article.
Vance and I took a few wonderful evening walks this past week and on one of those, I snapped a shot of this beautiful sunset.
And yesterday, I was brought this nice delivery from the Chemistry Cultura PR agency crew. I immediately put canned cocktails to chill in the fridge and I’m looking forward to enjoying one of these this weekend.
Then finally this week, I was so happy to see my article on the Opa-locka Heritge Trail posted on the Artburst Miami site. I’m very proud of this one, here’s the link so you can read it. I hope you enjoy it and learn a bit about the area’s history.
That’s all of this week, it was indeed a quiet one and perhaps that’s how the summer is gonna go, but you never know. Until next Friday, be well! See you in your inbox then!
