Jackson Hall's a healthy addition to the food hall craze

The Jackson Hospital Health District, where the University of Miami Medical Campus and Jackson Memorial Hospital are located, is the perfect spot for a food hall filled with healthy options. Probably why Della Heiman, founder of Wynwood Yard and her restaurateur/partner Ken Lyon chose the Civica Center in the heart of this District for their Jackson Hall.At 10,000-square-feet, the sprawling open plan on the Center's second floor, features six food concepts, all health conscious, with some familiar names to boot. You'll recognize Della Bowls, Radiate and Charcoal Rotisserie from the Wynwood Yard. Aside from those try fresh poke bowls from Little Island Poke Shop, Mediterranean favorites from Levante and deli fare from Leo + Bloom Delicatessen.Aside from offering healthy eats, they put plenty of thought into the atmosphere. Ample seating is centered around the Radiate Apothecary and Bar where they've got fresh juices and cocktails. They also brought in Mitchell Kaplan, owner of Books & Books, to create an adorable Positivity Library within the space. Here's a look at some of the beautiful food you can get at Jackson Food Hall in the Civica Center:Paying for your food at Jackson Hall is easy too. You make your selections from whichever of the six concepts you'd like from a central console. It tabulates and you pay just one time. Pretty easy.Next time you're in the area and in the mood for healthy eats, head to the second floor of the Civica Center. You can't miss the bright orange sign.Jackson Hall, 1050 NW 14 St.
