I'm a Miami native who loves living in such a vibrant city. I’ve enjoyed writing about it for more than two decades. I'm passionate about food, the arts and just letting as many people know about all the great adventures that can be experienced in the “Magic City.” Writing is also a great way to discover hidden gems I normally would just drive by everyday without knowing what I was missing. Most of all I love the stories I encounter when interviewing folks from whatever topic I might be covering that day. That’s how I create everlasting memories.

I spent nearly eight years working for Miami Today, a business weekly where I honed my skills as a writer working as calendar editor, dining writer and cultural arts columnist. I started out as production coordinator and worked my way into the writing. It was the experience I needed to do what I do today. I then segued into a 13-year-career in public relations working for the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation, the Miami Science Museum and NewmanPR on their Florida Keys account. I knew though that I would always come back to full-time writing.
