Vino e Olio: Primo Italian in the District

Newest to Miami’s Design District is primo Italian restaurant Vino e Olio, where Chef Andrea Marchetti has created a menu filled with Tuscan favorites cleverly split into antipastos or appetizers, pasta dishes, main courses and desserts.Chef Marchetti hails from Italy’s Tuscan region and his parents are culinary giants and he learned from them to serve up food from local producers which is what he’s doing at his place. His produce, cheeses and meats come from local providers and go into his signature dishes like Elogio al pomodoro antipasti which pays homage to the tomato with four small bites and the pecorino and ricotta stuffed tortelli in a beetroot sauce is made with all fresh ingredients.The wine selection here is stellar as well, a perfect complement to the cuisine and the chef wouldn’t have it any other way since his father is seasoned sommelier.Vino & Olio is located at 139 NE 39 St., Miami, FL
