Easter Brunch, it's a thing just like brunch has become the "it" meal so if you haven't discovered the wonder that this mid-morning meal brings, Easter is the perfect time to start. Here's a guide for you:
AVENTURA
Bourbon Steak in the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa, 19999 W. Country Club Dr. is where James Beard-award winning chef Michael Mina is glazed beef short ribs, truffle mac n cheese, miso-glazed sea bass and several traditional stations including raw bar, salad, omelet and antipasto. Served from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the brunch is $79 for adults or $90 with bottomless mimosas or bloody Marys and $39 for kids.
BRICKELL
La Centrale Italian Food Hall in Brickell City Centre, 601 S. Miami Ave. The brunch buffet here is no joke with seven food stations, fun for adults and the kiddos. We're talking hot and cold carving stations, fresh seafood, omelette and benedict stations, housemade pasta, cakes and pastries. $75 for adults, $35 for kids under 10. Feeling extravagant? $28 more means bottomless prosecco, mimosas or Bloody Mary's.
Quinto La Huella in EAST Miami, 788 Brickell Plaza is serving up a Latin American style brunch buffet highlighting their meats from the parilla including steak, chicken and sausage served along with grilled vegetables, pastas and salads. They'll have live entertainment and hourly egg hunts. Noon to 4 p.m., $55 for adults, $27.50 for kids under 9 and $25 gets adults bottomless mimosas or Rosé.
COCONUT GROVE
Ariete, 3540 Main Hwy., where Chef Michael Beltran is cooking up frita benedict with chorizo and papitas, pastelitos, breakfast burritos, guava and cream cheese pancakes (so Miami) and French toast sticks with cinnamon sugar and condensed milk, pure decadence. $39 per person and $25 for 12 and under. Adults pay another $10 for bottomless mimosas.
Chug's, 3444 Main Hwy., is Michael Beltran's newest venture is where you can go for a to-go box with six croquetas and six signature pastelitos for $25 for a true Cuban experience. Orders must be placed by April 18.
CORAL GABLES
Bellmont Spanish Restaurant, 339 Miracle Mile is serving up two options for Easter Brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (a la carte only after 2 p.m.). The first one for $42 includes fruit salad, omelette station, chicken and fish dishes, various style of potatoes, croquettes, dessert and bottomless mimosas or sangrias. Choose the $52 option and get all of that plus choice of either paella, lamb chops, pork tenderloin, fish from Northern Spain or grilled skirt.
Seek + Find, 2530 Ponce de Leon Blvd. is new on the Downtown Coral Gables restaurant scene and has a stellar brunch (and nightcluby vibe too). Offerings on their three-course Easter brunch menu include tropical benedict, shrimp 'n grits, no name snapper and lychee sorbet, to name a few. $45 per person and add bottomless mimosas or sangria for $18.
DOWNTOWN
Boulud Sud, 255 Biscayne Blvd. Way, inside the JW Marriott Marquis has a stellar Mediterranean menu, a re-envisioning by superstar Chef Daniel Boulud that's won rave reviews. Their Easter Sunday three-course menu includes their signature hummus, Brioche French toast, salmon bagel coupe glacee for dessert and branzino to name a few. There are eight, yes eight beverage options to choose from. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. $65 per person. Bring the kiddos at 10:30 a.m. for an Egg Hunt and enjoy a complimentary cocktail.
Toro Toro in InterContinental Miami, 100 Chopin Plaza. Here you can feast on seafood, carved meats, salads and desserts in a traditional buffet and where they'll also have family fun like an egg hunt and visit from the Easter bunny. Amazing bay views here, perfect for your IG account. 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., $75 for adults and $35 for kids.
FORT LAUDERDALE
The Atlantic Hotel & Spa, 601 N. Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd. You'll love this oceanfront Easter brunch which includes their regular brunch items plus additional gourmet stations. The selection includes leg of lamb, prime rib, drunken mussels, Nutella pancake, short rib eggs benedict and a dessert station with a variety of sweet treats. It's served 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is $49.95 for adults, $29.95 for kids 12 and up and $25.50 for kids ages 7-11. $15 more gets adults bottomless mimosas or a Bloody Mary bar.
KEY BISCAYNE
Lightkeepers, 455 Grand Bay Dr., has got a view that won't quit and a traditional brunch offering to match with omelets, waffles, seafood, raw bar, salads, bakery items and bottomless Bellinis, Bloody Mary's, Mimosas, Sangria, house draft beer all for $145 per person and $45 for kids.
Rusty Pelican, 3201 Rickenbacker Cswy., you can't beat the views at this legendary restaurant, and the multi-course brunch menu with classic buffet stations with French toast, pancakes, prime rib, caviar, Florida stone crabs, seafood paella, cakes, mousses and pies, to name but a few at $88 for adults and $35 for kids is equally impressive. Brunch is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
MIAMI BEACH
Bird & Bone at The Confidante, 4041 Collins Ave. is where Chef Richard Hales is always preparing a wonderful brunch that's worthy of an Easter Sunday outing. Their traditional breakfast buffet of scrambled eggs, bacon, omelet station and Chef's daily special is $32 and you can add on maple-glazed belgian waffles, select seafood and Southern glazed ham carving station for $54.
Diez y Seis in the Shore Club, 1901 Collins Ave. is a Mexican feast any day you go and for Easter Sunday they're serving up empanadas, guac, omelette and meat and fish station plus a taco cart and dessert. 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., $55 for adults ($20 more gets you bottomless champagne) and $25 for kids.
The Forge, 432 41 St., is the Beach's classic serving up a three-course menu for $75 that includes a choice of one appetizer, one entree and a dessert. Choose from charred spinach octopus or stracciatella cheese, lamb wellington or duck two-ways and carrot cake or black forest cake.
Jaya at the Setai, 2001 Collins Ave. is where you'll want to go for elegance and roasted strip loin, caramelized leg of lamb, truffle roasted chicken by Executive Chef Vijay Veena and free-flowing champagne, mimosas and bloody Marys. 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., $145 per person, $65 for kids 5-12 years old.
Market at EDITION, 2901 Collins Ave., the ambiance is phenomenal and it's where you can enjoy a menu that includes fresh oysters, organic scrambled eggs, cured meats and cheeses, chia seed pudding and assorted pastries and desserts. It's served from noon to 8 p.m. and is $65 for adults and $40 for kids under $13. An additional $18 gets the adults a bottomless Bloody Mary bar for customizable cocktails.
Stubborn Seed, 101 Washington Ave., is where Jeremy Ford has been making fans with his innovative dishes and for Easter brunch he's making caramelized cauliflower and eggs, smoked pork belly and crispy egg and Philly cheese Wagyu steak eggs benedict as part a three-course menu. Service starts at 10 a.m. and is $55 for adults and $25 for kids.
Tamara Bistro at National Hotel, 1677 Collins Ave. has an Easter brunch buffet that includes a full breakfast station, other breakfast specialty items, a bread station, desserts, a carving station and additonal brunch specialties. The kids can enjoy an egg hunt and everyone can enjoy a day by the pool which is included in the price of brunch. $49 for adults, $19.50 for kids and bottomless mimosas for adults for $25 more.
Vida in Fontainebleau, 4441 Collins Ave. will feature a decadent Easter brunch with a raw bar, carving stations and plenty of desserts plus fun for the kids with an egg hunt, interactive games and crafts for the kids. Noon to 4 p.m., $68 for adults and $34 for kids.
SOUTH MIAMI
Root & Bone, 5958 S. Dixie Hwy., is where Jeff McInnis is paying homage to his Grandma, displaying her cookbooks and keeping it homey and for Easter serving up a $55 prix fixe menu that includes deviled eggs of green eggs and ham, pickled pink and fancy caviar, honey roasted carrot and cashew toast, mint and mustard crusted leg of lamb and Neapolitan bunny cake.
SUNNY ISLES BEACH
BALEENKitchen at Sole Miami,17315 Collins Ave. This waterfront restaurant has amazing views and forEaster brunch, you'll love feasting on grouper ceviche, smoked salmonplatter, NY strip loin, roasted vegetables, portobello ravioli andassorted desserts.
