St. Patrick's Day Wynwood Block PartyRSVP right now for a free beer and a shot to this free party at the Mana Wynwood Convention Center on March 17. Jameson Irish Whiskey's the sponsor so that's probably the shot you'll get. Two-fist it with a green beer and then dance the day away with rotating DJs and feed your face with plenty of food truck fare. This weekend Carnival in Miami comes to Wynwood Yard. DJ Marvelous will be spinning alongside host Papa Keith from 103.5 The Beat. Get your spice on with Caribbean eats from the Food Dude food truck and wash that down with a special carnival-inspired cocktail created by the mixologists at the Yard. Local darlings Brothers of Others will perform and Ms. Cheezious will be there with outrageous grilled cheese combinations. Also, kids can make arts and crafts while adults enjoy floral arranging. Family Day at Miami Design DistrictThe weekly Friday night performances at Palm Court have become all the rage recently but this weekend there's also Family Day. This event reaches much further, taking place at various locations around the Design District. There are all kinds of interactive art activations at ICA Miami, Jade Alley and Paradise Plaza plus a throwback Care Bears movie screening at Nite Owl Theater.
