Plants and trees

Taking a little departure from the traditional blog post and sharing a poem I wrote a while back while I sat in the lovely outdoor setting of Vizcaya Museum & Gardens it’s called…

View through the tree, a tree at Greynolds Park

I need only oxygen, air and rainwater to thrive

I don’t ask for much, just those things and look what I give in return

Beauty…that grows, provides shade and continues to thrive

I encourage you to use my beauty, as a living thing, for inspiration

Let me be a reminder of the importance of keeping the earth alive and kicking

Take care of me… I’ll give you life, breath and endless joy
