Ode to Peru lasts only a day

Brickell’s MPP Restaurant is pulling out all the stops Friday, June 28 in honor of National Ceviche Day. Yes, the Peruvian favorite that’s sweeping all Miami by storm.MPP, which stands for Mi Propiedad Privada (My Private Property) is the area’s newest Cevicheria, serving a multitude of ceviches. They’re loaded with Peru’s bountiful array of peppers, especially their yellow ones on the spicy side, the traditional country’s sweet potatoes and corn.The main ingredient, the seafood, includes fish, tender octopus, crabmeat and tuna and all are marinated in lime long enough to cook it through.Samplings are $10 all day.
