Free and cheap fun this weekend

Either sketch in the galleries starting at 7 p.m. and don't worry, all skill levels are welcome or, at 6:30 p.m. watch Federico Fellini's film 8 1/2, the 1963 Best Foreign Film Oscar winning autobiographic film about filmmaking. It's also the final weekend of the exhibition Selling the Golden Leaf. Almost every day there's some kind of discounted admission, especially if you come before 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday OR save and bring in the wrapper from your two-liter or 20 oz. bottle of Coke. That gets you in for $7 instead of $12. The Youth Fair runs until April 7 so you've got a few weeks left to enjoy the fun. She was percussionist and singer for The George Duke Band and daughter of percussionist Pete Escovedo. Shake your money maker while you watch her beat the drums Friday at 6 p.m. at Palm Court in the Miami Design District as part of their weekly free music series. If you're done with happy hour, dinner and a movie is yawn and the club scene's got you wanting to stay home, how about an Arcade/VR adventure. How about trying out Virtual Underground Ready Player One Edition.
