Cosplay, geek out and celeb sight at Paradise City Comic Con

The world of Comic Cons has reached epic proportions in South Florida, with three yearly events that are attracting larger audiences each year. To kick off 2018 it's Paradise City Comic Con Jan. 12-14, coming once again to the Miami Airport Convention Center. The best day to go if you want to avoid huge crowds is opening day Friday. That's when the scene isn't as crazy and you can actually get the lay of the land and plan out the remaining two days. All the rage this year is the appearance by the four kids from the IT movie. Aside from photo ops each and every day (but only one per day), they'll also be participating in a Q&A on Jan. 14 and if you're a VIP you can rub elbows with them at a secret location during the opening night VIP Party, but you must have a VIP pass to enter.Fans of Overwatch, don't miss out on the video game tournament Saturday at noon and all you cosplayers will want to either partake or watch the Cosplay and Costume Competition Saturday at 8:30 p.m. And if for any reason you experience any issues with your Cosplay the Cosplay Repair Station crew are ready to get you all fixed up at their booth. The wrestling ring is always action-packed and each day brings new competitors. Watch wrestlers cosplaying as Deadpool and Roadhog go all out slamming down and pinning each other to the mat.Of course this isn't everything and there's no way to cover all the amazing happenings. It's probably a good idea to check out the full schedule here just to ensure you don't miss out on any of the action.
