Chef's Table at Quinto La Huella's lovingly curated goodness

The view at EAST Miami in Brickell is something to behold and so is the spread of colorful, hearty and oh so healthy options that are part of Chef's Table at the hotel's Uruguayan restaurant Quinto La Huella.Carefully curated by Executive Chef Nano Crespo, this is the ideal choice for anyone looking for a healthy, filling lunch that won't leave you feeling stuffed. Satisfied is all you'll feel. What will be tough is making a choice because there are so many great ones. The buffet selection is divided into five sections:

  • Seasonal salads where you can make your own starting with fresh greens and plenty of fresh vegetables, beans and more for topping. Put picture of the chain restaurant salad bar out of your mind, this is nothing like that. Tomato and cauliflower, beets and tomatoes with goat cheese, endless choices, you'll want to try a small spoonful of each to not miss out.
  • Homemade fluffy quiches

  • Wood oven grilled vegetables including zucchini, squash, tomatoes, asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower, potatoes and more. They're rich and meaty tasting, sliced thick.
  • The protein section includes a selection of grass-fed meats, local fish, poultry and fresh sliced cold cuts including roasted turkey. This is real roasted turkey, it will remind you of Thanksgiving. Plus, there are several types of fish available and chicken served various ways.

  • Homemade breads of all assortments make a great accompaniment to the meal

It's so easy to have a fulfilling, healthy lunch at Quinto La Huella so go fill up your plate Tuesdays through Fridays from noon to 3 p.m.788 Brickell Plaza, 5th Flr., (786) 805-4646 $21 http://www.east-miami.com/quintolahuella
