Wynwood's Cafeina does their third birthday up right
I hadn't been to Cafeina Wynwood Lounge in a few years and had just been that one time at that but do recall that it had a very cool vibe. I definitely wanted to visit again so when I was invited to attend their Third Anniversary party I jumped at the chance. With my BFF in tow, we headed to the spot we had been to before, eager to see what they'd done to the place. Being that we'd only been to the nifty courtyard area, experiencing the inside for the first time was an exciting prospect, and it didn't disappoint. We immediately fell in love with the chandeliers and seating areas downstairs then we headed upstairs and decided that's where we would stay. After all, it was the perfect spot to check out the scene and also be able to enjoy watching the folks downstairs. The elegant couches beckoned us over and there we enjoyed our complimentary cocktail, which packed a punch by the way, and was calling our name from the minute we saw the pink libation swimming in the punch bowl. It's great how the place with it's soft lighting, antique furnishings, plush surroudings and elegant light fixtures, harkens back to another era, the era of the Speakeasies. And adding to that vibe was the sultry burlesque, performed by the leggy dancer who had all the guys entranced as she performed her strip tease, down to her pasties, with strategically placed feathers adding to the provocativeness of her performance. Now that I've been back and experienced what they've got to offer, I'll definitely be back for happy hour or perhaps lunch or brunch, which they now serve, with either the hubby or the BFF.
