Thoughts & musings
These are some short thoughts I’ve put down on paper while sitting at either the beach or one of my favorite parks:
INVIGORATED:
After a few weeks of “blahness” this morning I woke up invigorated and ready to face the day! I think it was my triumph (ok, I’m exaggerating!) but to me it felt that way, last night at the Naked Angels cold reading workshop where I…
Went all in, let the words flow through me, brought my character to life, honed my skills, because I know they’re in me so I let them shine.
Taking each word, savoring it and pronouncing, really enunciating each one and giving each one their due and for it I was handsomely rewarded.
I was rewarded with…
Praise from my peers via high fives and heartfelt compliments about the connection they felt to my performance.
Perhaps the most touching came from the playwright whose words I acted out and whose words of praise, several times over, were like the stamp of approval!
2020’s coming to a close:
Year’s almost over and I’ve learned more each and every day how much I truly love my husband and kids. Nearly 10 months together, locked up in our house and we’ve found a way to have fun, laugh (and yes, argue) but through it all, stay united, together as a family unit.
We have cooked together, taken drives, done family movie nights on the couch, had great talks and discussions and so much more.
We’ve also learned to give each other space and most of all, supported each other. For all it’s horribleness, 2020 somehow brought us even closer together.
