Nemo: Not the fish but a mainstay restaurant on Miami Beach
South Beach is full of first-class restaurants but how many can claim to be around for nearly a decade, well not many, except for Nemo which is tucked quietly on the “other side” of Fifth Street (which is what MacArthur Causeway turns into). This elegant spot has been serving up stellar cuisine taking even everyday beef sliders to new heights. They’re serving up kobe beef sliders with cheddar and caramelized onions as well as a spicy vietnamese salad with bibb lettuce, mung bean sprouts, peanuts and basil as appetizers and the rest of their starters are just as varied. Chicken, fish and pork all make an appearance on the entree list including miso marinated sea bass with ginger spinach, carrot butter and crispy shiitake and a roasted kurobuta pork loin with brussel sprouts, smoked bacon, apricots and Marcona almonds. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with a funky bar for drinks, an awesome light, airy interior with lots of French doors and outdoor seating that in the evening is awash in candlelight and a brightly lit canopy tree.Nemo is located at 100 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, FL
