Celebrating National Bourbon Month in liquid style

In summertime, we can forgive a few fruity drinks. But now that fall’s around the corner, it’s time to man up. Set aside the umbrella-sporting cocktails and bring on the smooth stuff.

Hit up any of these hotspots for your fill of bourbon-based drinks honoring National Bourbon Month in style.

Marked Man at TIKL

Step inside Brickell’s newest go-to where you’ll join an attractive crowd sipping on the new bourbon mix, the Marked Man. Muddled with fresh ginger root and mint leaves, this limoncello-infused baby will go down smooth in its fancy martini glass with orange garnish.

TIKL Raw Bar & Grill, 1450 Brickell Ave., Miami (305-372-0620). $14.

The Dutch’s Southern Peach

Take a seat inside this retro-looking venue with crisp white brick walls and comfy couches where you’ll sip on their Southern Peach concoction. This slightly sweet peach-charged bourbon brew also looks the part, served in a crème de peche coated glass over one massive square ice cube.

The Dutch at W South Beach, 2201 Collins Ave., Miami Beach (305-938-3111). $9.

Wynwood Kitchen’s Maker’s Lemonade

Feast your eyes on these art-splashed walls as your liver soaks up this somewhat sour Maker’s Lemonade. With a douse of coriander seeds and fresh lemon juice, you’ll be sure to taste something zesty, but the touch of honey helps keep this drink a bit on the lighter side.

Wynwood Kitchen & Bar, 2550 NW 2 Ave., Wynwood (305-722-8959). $13.
