First come, first go

I continue to be amazed by drivers in my city who clearly have no concept of how to maneuver a four-way stop sign.Not a day goes by that I don't shudder at the thought of arriving at the one immediately after I make a left out of my cul-de-sac. I know what 's coming. I stop like I'm supposed to and then inevitably, some bonehead who arrived at the intersection AFTER me decides well, I'll go next because I've been sitting here longer than say two seconds!!! It's almost like they're saying "hey, I've got places to be and you can wait!"I'm so annoyed by this that when I received the obligatory e-newsletter from one of my city's Councilmen (who I know very well) today I felt compelled to express these feelings to him.Of course, there's nothing he can really do about it so I guess I'll just keep getting frustrated and honking my horn until these idiots learn that it's first come, first go!
