Danny Aruj has been in the salon business for more than 30 years and his new venture, Daruma Workshop Salon and Spa on bustling Coral Way is a hit with his clients. The name Daruma is a combination of the trio of owners, Danny, stylist Massimo who brings his extensive training from Italy, and nail and skin technician Rusia. The place has a nice airy feel of orange and green, comfortable private spa rooms for massages and waxing.Joining them as stylists are Angelika and Natalie who both specialize in cuts and color. Natalie’s specialty is extensions and keratin treatment while Angelika also has mendhi, the art of tattooing with Henna, in her repertoire as well as being a photographer. Rusia, the nail and skin technician specializes in innovative treatments like choco therapy using chocolate to detox and relax the body, galvanic therapy to rejuvenate and deeply cleanse and aveda aromatherapy facials. She also relies on her customer’s feedback to determine the most suitable treatment for their skin type.This is why he has a combination of clients from his former salon ventures as well as new ones that have switched to Daruma for their great manicures, pedicures and salon services. He is especially proud of the Aveda and Moroccan oil products, the latter which is now requested by clients.
