Revales Ristorante – Miami Beach

Chef/owner Marlon Reyes and his family are doing the Italian classics right at Revales Ristorante, due largely to Marlon’s extensive experience in Italian restaurant kitchens around Miami. He learned his skills at Coral Gables’ La Bussola where he became executive chef then he moved on to do the same at Giordano’s and Claudio’s, both also in the Gables.

He later moved on to Miami Shores and the Village Café and eventually came to open Revales. His family, brother-in-law David Espinales, along with their wives Idalmis Reyes and Yaleisy Espinales, run the restaurant with him which is the perfect way to keep it all in the family.

Classic menu items, and some of Reyes’ favorites include luscious crab filled ravioli in a light lobster sauce topped with half a crab cake (a chef’s special and not always on the menu), veal chops a la milanesa and delicate snapper Aqua Pazza with capers, tomatoes and spinach.

“It’s simple Italian food presented beautifully on the plate with nice garnishes,” Reyes said
